Lessons like Understanding Surgical Assistance and Anaesthesia Awareness are written specifically from the perspective of the support role, not the clinical one.

The estimated study time is 242 hours if you work through all 100 lessons at a thorough pace. If you have some relevant background or want to move through the material more efficiently, a fast-track option is available at approximately 21 hours. Most students fall somewhere in between depending on their schedule and how deeply they engage with each topic.

On completion, you will receive an Advanced Certificate in Vet Assistance from the platform. The course holds ICOES accreditation and qualifies for CPD recognition, which is valued by employers who look for candidates committed to professional development. It is worth noting that this is a vocational knowledge-based certificate rather than a government-accredited qualification under the Australian Qualifications Framework.
